As the nation continues its fight against Coronavirus, Nigeria on Thursday night recorded 595 new cases of COVID-19 with a total of 34894 confirmed cases.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its official Twitter page.
According to a tweet from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the total number of cases so far in Nigeria is now 34,894.
The NCDC further revealed that 769 people have died from the virus, with 14,292 patients discharged.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Dr Nimkong Lar, the Commissioner for Health in Plateau, has said that 57 health workers were infected with COVID-19 in the course of their legitimate duties in various health centres in the state.
Lar stated this at a press briefing after an executive council meeting on Wednesday in Jos.
