A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Saeed Olakunle has allegedly run mad after flogging a student in Akwa Ibom.
The information available to Our Agency has it that Olakunle was posted to Nsit ibom, in Akwa Ibom state. Trouble came to him after flogging a student for poor performance in his class.
According to his colleagues, Olakunle started acting strange after he woke up from his siesta, walking around his room and speaking gibberish.
His roommate was the first to call for alarm and when they tried to restrict his movements he ran away but was later caught and chained.
They suspect it was as a result of a diabolic action by the student he flogged in school. Meanwhile, the student in question has not been to school for some days now.
Is it right for a teacher to correct his/her students by canning them?
