There has been anxiety in Bayelsa State since Thursday, February 13, after Supreme Court sacked Mr. David Lyon, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the Governor-elect the State.
Following the annulment by the Apex court, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Bayelsa state governor-elect, Senator Duoye Diri was sworn in as Governor of Bayelsa state on Friday, February 15.
Few hours after Justice Kate Abiri administered the oaths of office on Diri, the Spiritual Leader and Founder of Christ Deliverance Ministries {CDM} in Lagos, His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen has urged the newly sworn-in Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri to pray fervently to avert political set-back awaiting him.
Speaking from his spiritual perspective, the Servant of God warned him not to rejoice yet because his political future is not certain. Ituen, a known Seer who had predicted many national events with accuracy especially on electoral matters stated this in Lagos few hours after Diri’s swearing-in as Bayelsa State Governor.
It is on record that before 2019 Bayelsa/Kogi States Governorship Election, Prophet Ituen had warned Senator Diri about his political future as Published in National Dailies: Telegraph – 9/11/19 Page 25. and Daily Times – 8/11/19 Page 27.
The Prophet was quoted saying;
“PDP will find it difficult to win in Beyalsa State, their chances are very slim. I urge their governorship candidate, Senator Douye Diri to be prayerful and contact a true Prophet of God of his choice with proven integrity because God has a word for him”
“Senator Dino Melaye will be defeated, Mr Yaya Bello will win governorship election in Kogi State.
Meanwhile, the hearing of the application for review filed by David Lyon, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa state has been fixed on Tuesday, February 18th by the Supreme Court.
