United Arab Emirates have officially begun administering their COVID-19 Vaccine.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, made the announcement via social media as he received the vaccine.
The Sheikh wrote;
While receiving the COVID-19 vaccine today. We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE. The future will always be better in the UAE.

In September, the UAE issued emergency approval for the trial COVID-19 vaccine for frontline healthcare workers.
“The vaccine will be available to our first line of defense heroes who are at the highest risk of contracting the virus,” the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said.
In another report, a US biotech firm, Moderna Therapeutics on Thursday, October 29, disclosed that it has received $1.1 customer deposits ahead of its global COVID-19 vaccine launch.
This revelation was made by the biotechnology company in its third quarter financial results report released on Thursday.
